Virtual Items & In‑App Purchases Policy
SydneyReels.com (Australia). Last updated: 30 May 2026.
1) Optional purchases
SydneyReels may offer optional paid features such as virtual coins, credits, boosts, badges, or other in‑app virtual items (together, Virtual Items). Core access may be available without purchase unless stated in‑product.
2) Pricing, currency & coin packages
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change at any time. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable. Typical package formats may include bundles such as 100 Coins, 500 Coins, 1,200 Coins, or time‑limited offers; the exact bundles, unit values, and prices are displayed in‑app/at checkout.
If you purchase via Apple App Store or Google Play, the store provider is the merchant of record and their billing terms may apply.
3) No real‑world value; no redemption
- Virtual Items are licensed, not sold.
- Virtual Items have no real‑world monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be exchanged for real‑world goods or services outside SydneyReels.
- Virtual Items are non‑transferable and may only be used within SydneyReels as described in‑product.
4) Delivery & errors
Virtual Items are usually delivered immediately after successful payment. If delivery fails or the balance appears incorrect, contact us with your transaction receipt so we can investigate.
5) Refunds, cancellations & chargebacks
- Store purchases: Refund requests for Apple/Google purchases must be made through the relevant store, subject to their policies.
- Direct purchases (if offered): If you bought from us directly, refunds may be provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law (including consumer guarantees) or where we determine a refund is appropriate in our discretion (for example, proven duplicate charges or non-delivery that we cannot remedy).
- Chargebacks: If a chargeback is initiated, we may suspend access to Virtual Items or related features while the dispute is investigated and may remove Virtual Items credited from the disputed transaction if the chargeback is upheld.
6) Underage users & parental protections
- Users must have permission from a parent/guardian to make purchases if they are under 18, and must follow any app store/account holder rules.
- We recommend enabling device/app store purchase controls (such as password prompts and family approval features).
- If you believe a minor made an unauthorised purchase using your payment method, contact the relevant app store immediately and also contact us so we can assist with account review.
